I thought this restaurant was going to be a "tourist trap" but it exceeded my expectations. This was my favorite dinner on my Parisian holiday. It was so trendy and chic. Their menu had a lot to offer.

Naturally when in Rome (or in Paris in this case), I tried the escargot and OMG so delicious! The waitress was so friendly and sweet. She showed us how to eat this delicacy so we didn't make a mess or a fool out of ourselves lol.

This restaurant is definitely worth the prices that they charge. Highly recommend it

I was in Paris for the past few days with my cousin and she picked this restaurant for our "fancy" night out. We call the restaurant and are informed you need to send an e-mail to make a reservation. Weird but okay. I shoot an e-mail requesting Saturday night for 2 and they are booked. I reply back for Sunday night and we are in.

Sunday night rolls around and we head over to the restaurant. The hostess greets us and sends us upstairs, this place is a lot bigger than I had expected. The seats are plush and comfy which is a nice touch. The server comes over to take our drink order and our water preference*. She disappears for a while to let us browse the food menu. A different server comes over and asks if we mind moving to the mirror wall, we move. They clearly needed our 2 top for a bigger party. At our new location we resume menu browsing and light chatting. No one comes to our table for a while...

Server shows up and takes our order, food comes out fairly quickly. I had the lobster with fries and my cousin had the steak. For a fancy-ish place they do serve their food rather plainly. Lobster came cut in half with a lime (not lemon?) wedge along with a plate of shoestring fries. Lobster was rather small and barely had any meat to him while the fries were just odd. Also, the sauce served with the lobster was a little odd to me, it reminded me of a spicy remoulade. My cousins steak was a little underdone for her liking but stated it was good, her mashed potatoes were also very creamy.

Foreshadowing: The table next to us is given the bill and are ready to pay but the server disappears. They wait for a while and an older gentleman says "Maybe we should get up? Then they will know we are done.".

We finish our meal and then we wait. And wait. Try to get the servers attention and she doesn't even look our way. Eventually I make eye contact with one and motion for the check. We had planned on getting dessert but by that point we would of had to wait another hour with the terribly slow service. We left and got dessert elsewhere. This place has been crossed off my list.

*FYI - there is a charge for both still and sparkling waters.

During my week long stay in Paris, this beautiful place was recommended to us by one of the locals! And I usually love a good recommendation.

Upon entering we were immediately greeted and sat near a window. I personally love sitting near a window, as some of the tables are very close, this helps open up the room. I had the tuna tare tare appetizer chick was out of this world! Almost considered ordering a second plate! As an entree I had a pasta with mushrooms and white sauce. This wasn't extremely overwhelming to me personally.. but I am a major pasta fan so I'm hard to please ;)

The over all experience was great and the service was very good.

Loved this restaurant! Great service! Dress well when you go as it is quite a trendy crowd. I had heard that food was just ok. I would disagree! We had Steak, frites, harricort vert, chicken paillard, spring roles and Thai Basil beef(which was the only item that was ehhhhh, a little bland and overcooked)
Not inexpensive but you are paying for atmosphere and service!

Great food here. Truly amazing. The reviews were great and we even heard this place was pricey but worth it and definitely have to agree. Went for brunch and got drinks and everything was amazing. Large, delicious escargot! Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting to make this a must!
